Secondary raw materials and packaging
One of the main goals of waste recycling is to improve the environmental situation
Why is recycling so important?
To date, the waste disposal and processing market is not sufficiently developed. This is caused not by the lack of technologies for processing secondary raw materials, but by low profitability, in connection with which it becomes simply unprofitable to process secondary waste.
However, the use of household waste becomes a good basis for the production of secondary raw materials, which can be re-entered into the production cycle by sorting them by type with the help of a recycling symbol.
The use of secondary raw materials, including household waste, makes it possible to produce many products, such as paper products, glass containers, various metal and plastic products...
Valuable components of waste are considered to be:
-
Plastics: PET, HDPE, PVD, PVC;
-
Glazier and glass breaker;
-
Waste paper: paper, cardboard, newspapers and textiles;
-
Rubber;
-
Wood;
-
Electronics: boards, batteries, wire, mercury lamps; Petroleum products, asphalt, bitumen, oils;
-
Black and non-ferrous metal scrap.
In the process of recycling, various materials are obtained from waste, including construction materials, organic fertilizers and thermal energy.
